Local Councillor Rosalyn Davies says she though the spoil was from a different quarry, 3 year after the school was vacated.

“To be honest, I was not aware that there had been a quarry above the school.I thought that it was spoil from Pentwyn Quarry. I lived in upper part of Godre’r Graig so I went to Pant-teg Primary School.I asked my husband who was in Godre’r Graig School & he knew of it. There were many quarries & small mines on Alltygrug mountain” – Cllr Rosalyn Davies
