High Court grants permission to apply for judicial review

“The matter came before Steyn J on the papers. On 23 March 2022, she granted permission to apply for judicial review, commenting that the grounds are arguable. The council was not shut out from arguing delay points at the main hearing, but permission would not be refused on delay grounds alone; the proposals were not due to be implemented until September 2024, a lead time notably longer than in some other school closure cases” 25/11/2022
